Going For More Than Third Base

Attention baseball fans or fans of baseball fans: Friday night New York Yankee Derek Jeter has a chance to break a record, as he's surely broken many a heart (he is 35 and single). Wednesday, Jeter tied baseball legend Lou Gehrig's record for number of team hits. If the game isn't rained out Friday, he will likely break the record, which has been held since 1937 and is kind of a big deal. Before Gehrig, Babe Ruth held the record. If the game is rained out, Jeter will get his chance on Saturday.
Mama and Daddy Jeter must be proud.
